Sauna Menthol® is a Finnish sauna brand that has created an entirely new product category in the sauna world – flavored menthol crystals. Start with a small amount : Menthol crystals are very powerful, so it is recommended to start with a small amount, for example one small crystal, about 0.5 cm in size. This way you get a safe and pleasant effect and you can gradually increase the amount if necessary.
Bath water temperature : Do not put crystals in cool bath water, as the crystals do not dissolve properly in cool water. Make sure the water is hot enough for the crystals to dissolve and release fresh menthol vapor into the sauna.
In contact with the skin : Menthol crystals can cause an intense feeling of coolness when in contact with the skin. This may feel very cold at first, but it also increases blood flow to the area and the sensation will go away after a while. Although the sensation is not dangerous, it is good to avoid getting the crystals directly on the skin in the sauna, and especially on the face area, to avoid burning eyes.
Do not place directly on the resistors of the electric heater : The crystals must not come directly on the resistors of the electric heater, as they may burst into flames. Safely add the crystals to the hot water in a ladle or place them on the stove on top of the stones.
Storage : Sauna Menthol should be stored in a closed package at room temperature. Avoid storing in a sauna, as the melting point of the crystals is around 41°C and they can melt in a hot environment. This way you ensure that the crystals remain usable and fresh for a long time.
Warnings and notes : Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Avoid getting the product in the eyes; if the product gets into the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and see a doctor if necessary. Keep the product away from open flames and hot surfaces, as it can ignite in contact with fire. Do not use the product if you are allergic to menthol; consult your doctor before use if you suspect an allergy or have other health concerns. Store in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture to ensure product quality.
